Release notes

Install. Open. Make room.

  1. Download and run the installer.

    Install for your Windows user and open Buddy from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. Node.js is not required.

  2. Bring your coding agent.

    Use the official Claude Code or Codex instructions to install and sign in.

  3. Choose a project.

    Open a folder for a base terminal, or choose Start a new chat for an installed agent. Approvals stay in the agent's terminal.

Prefer to run without installing?

The portable build is the same workspace in a standalone launcher. Its preferences are still saved in your Windows user profile.
